………..TITANS AND TRAINING CAMP UPDATE…

Monday’s practice was pushed back from 330 to 730 pm due to the almost unbearable heat. Although it was so hot at Austin Peay, it didn’t really matter.

Players looking good: Believe it or not, PacMan is having a great camp. He was practically all over the field Monday evening, intercepting passes, knocking down passes and breaking up passes. The Titans Defensive line continued to look good with Kyle Vanden Bosch and Big Albert Haynesworth just blowing up plays.

Vince Young continues to look impressive as well but so does Billy Volek. Vince has never seen pressure like the Titans defense is throwing at him in practice and most of his passes are in the flat to the tight ends because he is getting rushed at every angle.

Volek is handling the rush much better and making some great throws. He will be the starter and so far, he is having a great camp as the number one quarterback.

Areas of concern: Offensive Line. Zach Piller left practice early because of a stomach bug, Benji Olson was out as well Monday night. They need some players to step up and hopefully one of the concerns will turn into a bright spot for the team.

The Titans are back at it Tuesday morning at 9 and at 330. Watch tomorrow for more live reports from Titans training camp on News 2 and a daily Titan update on here.
