………..GOODBYE BILLY!!!…

As we first told you Monday night at 10, ahem, Billy Volek will be traded Tuesday to the San Diego Chargers for 6th round draft pick.

Ok, good for Billy but there are several questions here. One, they said this deal was in the works for two weeks and they wanted to wait until the two teams played each other before the trade went thru. Coach Fisher told us that no one, not one person, in the Titans organization had talked to San Diego at all. He has said this on several occasions.

Evidently, they have been talking awhile, so Coach Fisher, why lie? Why not just say, ‘Billy is going to be traded, to who, we don’t know yet,’ and leave it at that. Why lie, your team stinks, your job is on the hot seat, you and Floyd Reese’s drafts since 2001 have been absolutely horrible, I mean they have stunk so bad, it would make a landfill smell like the makeup counter at Dillards. Plus, Norm Chow is the MOST OVERRATED OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR IN THE HISTORY OF FOOTBALL! Enough said, he is just plain bad, like this team.

But congrats to Billy Volek. He has played the good soldier, kept his mouth shut and done his job. Billy goes from possibly one of the worst NFL teams in the last 20 years, yep, the last 20 years, to a Super Bowl contender in a city that is just simply beautiful and a Charger team that is going somewhere and that is passionate about winning.

Somewhere right now, you know Billy Volek is laughing and laughing hysterically. See you at Super Bowl XLI in Miami, Billy.

And to Coach Fisher and Floyd Reese, better call Crye-Leike, I hear it is a seller’s market now.

Joe D.

Thank you!!! I am not alone anymore…Norm Chow IS a serious part of the problem…and Fisher always has been.

Big Joe, right on!! I don’t know why they lied from the beginning. I agree with Norm Chow, that offense is pretty bland.

Oh, and I’ll be watching the show Friday night since the Titans’ brass will surely read this beforehand. Wear you steel suit to the taping.

Inspirational Thought for the Day: It is disappointing to see how this organization has treated both McNair and Volek. A basic principle of life is to always treat people how you would want to be treated. The good fortune has run out for this team, and the thought strikes me that it could be that what goes around comes around.

I agree with your points 100 percent. Everyone knew they were trying to trade Billy and then say you aren’t, that is just plain wrong. I agree with Norm Chow, not very good at all.

I like Volek, but I dont know how good this move will be for him. They have two desent qb’s now. I feel that Volek should have been the starter. He’s not perfect, but at least he could compete. We’re not even competetive. And it’s not all Norm Chow and Fisher. When you have a super bowl team, and just a few years down the road, you dont have any players remaining from that team. Somethings wrong..and it starts at the top.

Joe, you hit the nail on the head. I have been very disappointed in the coaching staff and front office of the Titans for a long time. Last year with Adam Jones really was the beginning of the end. When they treated Steve McNair like they did, that was the last straw. Now Volek. Do they not care about or respect the players? The locker room attitude last year should have been a clue. They will never have a “team” and get results if they do not show some respect for the members of the Titans team. Jeff Fisher had a great connection with the players. I believe that is no longer there. There is no shown. No one will want to play for the Titans or Jeff Fisher or watch the games. The games may be sold out, but will the seats actually be full? I really feel sorry for the players and only hope that someone makes it clear to Jeff Fisher and Floyd Reese that they are damaging the Titans and losing fans. Shame on you. We love our Titans but we do not have to love or like Jeff Fisher or Floyd Reese. Your player choices and decisions suck.

Oh, the stuff is hitting the fan now! I agree with Joe though. We bought original PSLs and now I would love it if I could not buy the season tickets for a few years to make a point. However, that is why they tie the license to the ticket because many people feel as I do. I don’t even want to go to the games but you also can’t get anyone to buy your tickets locally. Selling them on E-bay doesn’t bring what it used to.

I think it is time for fresh blood on the coaching side of the team since we have gotten rid of most of the team members with any experience. Bud Adams needs to wise up and Fisher needs to be a man and sh– or get off the pot!
