ASK THE COACH QUESTIONS MIAMI 13-TITANS 10
No matter how you look at the Titans 3rd loss in a row to open up the season, it was ugly for both teams. The fact is the Titans had more than enough chances to take this game, but 2 Kerry Collins interceptions, a fumble by Bo Scaife at the Dolphins 2 yard line and a number of penalities, like the one on Pac-Man Jones Punt Return for a Touchdown, kept the Titans from there first victory of the season. The Titans Defense did their part in this game holding the Phins to only one touchdown! No question the offense looked better as the game went along.
Collins threw for 269 yards and connected with Bo Scaife for his 1st Touchdown of the season, but still looked out of sync and behind on throws with a number of his receivers. Travis Henry looked great at times in the first half piling up over 50 yards, but only finished the game with 60 yards on 21 carries!
Just how much longer do the Titans continue with Kerry Collins, thinking he is the best chance for this team to win, before it’s time to let Vince Young take his licks in his rookie season? Number 10 didn’t see the field in Sunday’s loss. Some will argue that the Titans could be 2-1, but they are not! They are 0-3 and 1-12 in road games since November of 2004. If you have a question for Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher please post a comment below.

Coasch—you are 0-3 right now. Dallas next week isn’t coming to Tennessee to lose. Both Indy & Washington will not lose at home. That makes “YOU” & Collins 0-6 prior to the bye. WHAT THEN ?

Coach: With a game like today, how do you find the balance between totally ripping your team a new one (for the penalties and turnovers) and re-motivating them with “positive reinforcement”? That would have to be difficult…

Dear Coach Fisher:
In the game today against Miami, a team that is almost as bad as yours, I saw your wonderboy quarterback, Collins, throw a pass two or three yards behind Bennet, who was running a simple across center pattern. The pass was intercepted, and in my opinion this cost you the game. Any seasoned quarterback that has played in as many NFL games a Collins has should be able to put a pass on the receiver’s numbers on a play such as this. While he had a little pressure, he did not have enough pressure to cause a throw this far off target. Come on Coach, when are you going to admit that the selection of this dunder head as the starting QB was one of the worst mistakes you and the Titan management have ever made? Also, sticking by this four footed QB is even worse.

Why isn’t Woolfolk playing… at all? Hill is terrible out there. No way Woolfolk isn’t at least the same or even better than Hill.
So why isn’t Woolfolk allowed to play? Aside from special teams, that is…

Coach: In the past 3 games, there have been on average three balls “batted” down by the defense. Is this something that Collins or the offensive line is doing wrong?

Have you noticed that Steve McNair is 3-0?
Oh, you have?
Just wonderin’.

Coach,
In preseason, I kept hearing you say that we are a running team. All we want to do is establish the run. So, why are we starting every game passing the ball? Travis Henry has looked great. Why not pound the ball and pass last since our passing game isn’t clicking yet? Thanks Coach!
Oh, and by the way, we need a new defensive coordinator! Our defense has never been what it was at since Greg Williams left. 40 points on a NFL team is ridiculious. This is the pros, not college. Pittsburgh’s offense wasn’t clicking playing Jax and they couldn’t put 40 points on the Steelers. The Chargers aren’t that great. I’m not looking forward to playing the Colts!!!!

Coach, I read that the team is retiring Warren Moon’s number during Sunday’s game. Considering the amount of great players you’ve coached during your tenure, do you see them retiring #27, #9, or #74 in the not so distant future?

Coach, What is that only you see in Packman? He misses more drect tackles than all the others put together! Agreed, he can run with the ball but again not into anyone but it keeps him from getting hit so he goes out of bounds! Isn’t your future based on performance? His?

Coach I will be watching & listening to Sunday’s game when you & Collins get TO’d by Dallas. I hope the sports media will let the audience hear the BOO’s coming from our own Titan fans. At least you have a BYE coming up & you can’t lose that week.

To Coach Fisher:
What is your reaction to the firecoachfisher.com website that was recently lost? Have any of your players discussed this with you? How do you deal with people calling for your job? Thanks and good luck against Dallas!

Coach,
How does it feel to get boo’d in your own stadium. When are you going to admit that Collins is a mistake and move on? He isn’t getting it done!

Hey Coach,
What’s up with Courtney Roby? I haven’t seen him on the injury report and he hasn’t played in any games this year. When is he going to play?

Coach,
Are there specific milestones that a young quarterback like Vince Young is expected to meet before they are allowed to start in the NFL. If so, what are they and is Vince on track to meet them?
on September 29th, 2006 at 7:25 pm
Coach, Are you and Brandon Fisher related ?

Coach, thank you for answering my question on the show tonight…and more importantly, for looking into the camera and saying my name…I’m gonna have sweet dreams tonight.
Love,
Ginger

Release Albert Haynesworth!
What he did, was totally uncalled for. Play was over, put team in a bigger hole and made their pitiful defensive effort make MAJOR national headlines. He has not been playing that well anyway; which caused him to be frustrated and have a poor attitude, no excuse. Should not be allowed to play in the NFL for the rest of the season and with another team, when allowed to play again. Our offense is young, our defense is not. No reason to allow 45 points to be put up. Cowboys ran the ball down our throats! Good decision letting Vince play. He looked good, better than Kerry Collins. Don’t mind losing, if seeing improvement and growth in Vince and the offense. But poor attitude and childish attacks on opponents should not be tolerated.

Can you provide more information on this for the rest of us far-away (Europe) Redskins fans?
