Titans will win Sunday
Seeing practice and being in the lockeroom this week I’m calling for a Titans win Sunday against the Cowboys. The Titans left Miami with a sour taste in their mouths and I feel it is the perfect recipe for a win Sunday. Another reason I feel they’ll win Sunday is that the lockeroom has been a jovial place this week. When lockerooms are loose, good things happen. Let me also throw in the fact that the Cowboys had a plethora of distractions this week and play at Philly next week(TO’s return to the city that hates him). They probably think they can show up at LP Field and pick up an easy win.
Maybe I’m being too optimistic. And, I’ll be man enough to take the punches if the Cowboys win.
See you Sunday on Sports Xtra at 10:30pm where we go 1-on-1 with Jeff Fisher.

The offense and defense showed massive improvement last week. Frankly, I think that as the offensive line goes for the Titans, so goes the game.

I will say this and only hope Jeff Fisher either reads it or hears of it. If Haynesworth is still on roster come Monday afternoon I will no longer be a Titans Fan! PERIOD! I will back the Titans winning or losing, doesn’t matter. However, to let a player act as he did is unprofessional at the least. If I were to do anything close to what he did, I would get fired. I believe he should as well. No questions about it. If anyone thinks they can justify his actions, you need to reevaluate your standards as well.

As much as I adore Jeff Fisher, he has lost control of his team. If he was, none of his players would DARE do just happened. What Hanesworth did was a CRIME–aggrevated assult. He should be booted from the NFL. Period.

I take back what I said, originally, on the first comment. I forgot that Jim Schwartz was the Defensive Coordinator…
Haynesworth must be suspended for the rest of the season after that bull**** he pulled. Sickened me, immensely.

fined? Suspended?!? FIRED!!! or
KICKED OUT OF THE NFL AND THROWN IN JAIL FOR ASSAULT! Note to Titans “Coaches” and “Management”, his actions are a direct reflection on you and all of Tennessee. Bottom line: STOP HIRING CRIMINALS.

Yeah… too bad Steve didn’t want to be a Titan. Oh well.

Yes, the Titans lost again, but I am still going to believe that things will improve. It may be next year before this happens, but it will happen. I have not lost confidence in them and they need to not lose confidence in themselves. When this happens it might take more than just this year to get it back. They have had too many different quarterbacks this year. They never knew who was going to start from week to week. The team started having problems back when whoever is to blame let Steve McNair leave too soon. They did not treat him right. I believe if they had offered Steve less money to stay and mentor Vince, that he would have done it. He and Vince had a good relationship already. Then when Steve retired, Vince would have been more ready to take over! He is going to make a good quarterback, BUT he needs time to make this happen. I think he does need to continue being the quarterback for the rest of this football season. Fans are just going to have to give him and other young players time. Also I know that the players are getting tired of losing and are frustrated, but they need to just keep on plugging along. I am sure that this frustration is what lead Haynesworth to do what he did today. I know he is sorry and should be suspended for awhile. He needs to keep himself under control. Instead of doing things like this though they need to just try the best they can and not make things any worst. Fans need to remember we do have some young players. I do believe some decisions about the team have been the wrong ones, but I don’t know who to blame for it. Wrong decisions that were made cannot be changed, so we as fans and the team just have to go forward. We have alot of players who play well and do their best each and everytime they play. They deserve our support!

Sigh… Steve did not want to “mentor” anyone. He clearly stated he wanted to start for more than one year - 2 to 3. As for the money… part of the reason he was traded was because he refused to negotiate, at all. He wanted to get paid what he KNEW the Titans couldn’t afford to pay him. He even stated that he knew the Titan Organization couldn’t afford what he wanted and didn’t want to renegotiate.
Bottom line… if McNair wanted to be a Titan, he would be one. It was up to him and he refused. He flat-out didn’t want to be a Titan.
I guess renegotiating a contract for less money to help the team wasn’t going to work for him. He had already gotten $60+Million over the years being a Titan. But, he wanted to get paid and be a starter for more than 1 year.
That’s fact… if McNair wanted to be a Titan, he would be.

Good for Steve!
I think he saw what was coming and got the heck out. 4-0 is not a bad start for ol’ Steve.
