Vandy’s Dream Season Over…….
Michigan stunned Hawkins field Monday night with a 4-3 win over top ranked Vanderbilt. Freshman pinch hitter Alan Oaks hit a David Price fastball in the center field seats with one out in the 10th inning.
Pedro Alvarez nearly tied it up in the bottom of the tenth, but missed a home run by an inch or two. So Vandy’s season comes to an end. That’s the bad news, the good news………….They are on the map and will only get better. When David Price goes number one later this week in the MLB Draft Vandy will always be able to use that with potential recruits. When the recruits see the Dores baseball facility it will solidify that Vanderbilt is an elite program.
Tonight is a tough pill to swallow, but the future is very bright for Commodores Baseball.

I will tell you what is bright. My pearly whites, behind my smoking stache. I highly doubt Vandy’s losing season is a match for a good looking man with a moustache that would make Tom Selleck cry.
