What to expect Sunday in Jacksonville…..

There’s nothing a opening weekend in the NFL. For the Titans there is no better way to see how far they’ve come than a trip to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s hometown.

Is the defense better than last year? We’ll know after Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew…..
I think the Titans will put 8 in the box and say “beat us”. The Jags are not strong at WR. The Titans won’t be able to shut down the Jags running attack. But if they can keep it somewhat in check it will be a good day.

What about wide receivers? I think Eric Moulds will have a huge day and help VY move the chains. Moulds was quiet in preseason, but that’s typical for seasoned vets like Moulds. He’s still got a lot in tank, especially with a QB like VY throwing him the ball.

What about Running Back? If LenDale White and Chris Brown can get through the Jags huge D-Line on a regular basis the Titans will come back with a win.

Titans special teams…….. Fisher has done a great job of keeping his plans secret, but I feel Cortland Finnegan will return punts. This could be a game of field position and the Titans can win that battle.
Rob Bironas may come back to Nashville with another game winner………

Don’t forget we’ll be in Jacksonville with the Titans and we’ll have exclusive 1-on-1’s with Jeff Fisher and Kyle Vanden Bosch Sunday nigh at 10:35pm on Sports Extra.

Uhh, how did you know what I was going to do? Do you have my playbook? Did you know that my stache looks just as good in the sunshine state as it does in every other state in the country. I’m just saying.

    Coach F.

A question….do you let your stache dictate your play-calling? For instance, if you’re having a good stache day, are you more likely to be aggressive, or do you just play it conservative so you can finish 8-8 or 4-12 again?

Umm, Buddy, not sure if you have checked out the ticker at your local Kroger’s but we won, handily, down in our other home stadium, Jacksonville. Heh heh.

So tell Mr. Manning on Sunday to watch it cause we are out to get him although I got quite a scare last year when he did that one commercial and he had a moustache (I think for Verizon.) I Freaked out thinking ‘if he has a stache now, and I have one, who wins? But I was pretty relieved that he didnt have one, but Coach Dungy does. Although his not even in the ball park as my prickly prine.
