Steve McNair Killed

This is one of those days when my job is tough do. It was truly devistating news to hear legendary Titans QB Steve McNair was murdered early this morning in Nashville.

He was the face of the franchise and a warrior. He was what football and toughness were all about. He will be missed.

Seriously? Steve McNair was a legend…and so 2 out of the 4 or 5 people you interviewed about his death had serious missing teeth issues! Sheesh! No wonder people in other states think of us as snaggle tooth hillbillies!

Next time, why don’t you take just a little longer and TRY to find typical fans? One toothless comment, ok! But 2!?!?!

Did your reporting make anyone proud to be a Nashvillian grieving a real hero???

Please, enough! McNair might have been a hero to some folks; but look at what he really was— a wife cheater!!!! I would never want him to be a role model for my child or any other child. Nashville news folks–get a life!!!

Regardless of his fidelity his play “on the field” inspired many in Middle Tennessee. He was also as big of a sports celebrity we’ve had and his murder is a tragedy. I understand your frustration with his personal life, but he’s only a role model if you choose him to be.

He was adored by thousands and was unimaginably important to millions who were told they couldn’t do it because of the color of their skin or the size of the school they attended.

The Tennessee Titans are easily the biggest story year in and year out, the ratings prove it, and Steve McNair is still one of the 2 most popular Titans to grace L-P Field.

Most men do cheat. Preachers, fathers, and even Presidents. I use to fault my father 13 years ago when i younger but when I turned 21, I soon found out how hard it was with temptation for and desire of women. Im not justifying it because I chose not to get married but its sad that he died cheating on his wife making that the last memory for his wife. That was a dumb move. Died behind sex with a young crazy hoochie. He sacrificed his wife, parents and sadly, he sacrificed his kids. But u trash cant judge the man. He was human. Cast the first stone for those who have not sinned.
