Titans On 2 With Jeff Fisher

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on programming tonight. We are taping Titans on 2 With Jeff Fisher live at its normal time, 7 to 8 PM tonight (Tuesday) at Opry Mills, but the show will not air until Wednesday at 6:30 PM.

We apologize for any inconvenience, just a programming move that had to be made. Next week the Coach’s Show returns to its normal time.

Thanks!!!

GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!EVERY ONE IS NOT A TITAN OR A JEFF FISHER FAN…………..WHY CAN’T THIS BE TAPED FOR LATE NIGHT INSTEAD OF PRIME TIME. I GUESS MONEY TALKS!!!!!!!!!!I REALLY DO NOT CARE IF THEY WIN OR LOOSE, BUT WKRN IS LOOSING PEOPLE WHO WATCH THE NETWORK, BECAUSE OF TAKING PRIME SHOWS OFF THE AIR, WHILE WE ARE SUBJECT TO THIS. THANK GOODNESS FOR OTHER CHANNELS…….

why do you preempt a live show for this? put this on at later time in the evening.after all,it is recorded.people have their dvr’s set for entire series.this is extremely poor decision making on someone’s part.

My Blood Pressure is going up just thinking about this! Dancing With The Stars most important night and you have some stupid football crap on the station!! I’m NOT a titan’s fan at all and this should have been looked at before putting on this night! So you go after 40 people that might watch that show to 40 MILLION that would watch DWTS! Looks like you may need to hire a better PD!

Why are you preempting prime time television. I just wish my show was on another network then I wouldn’t have to ever watch channel 2 again.

This is poor planning. I wish I would have known I would not be able to see the entire DWTS results show. Why does Nashville feel the need to air a show on a local team during prime time premier week? Those of us who like DWTS have invested 2 hours of our time on Monday and 2 hours on Tuesday just to not be able to see the results show. Very poor planning WKRN.

I love the Titans and I watch them every weekend - but this is ridiculous - I love DWTS and Patrick Swayze - not only is this a live DOUBLE elimination there is a tribute to Swayze and I can’t find out WHEN I can watch this episode on DirectTV!!!!! I also can’t find anywhere on this page where the programming schedule is to see if I’m going to miss the ENTIRE show - I know I’ve missed the elimination!
I was planning on watching 3 new series on this network this fall - but will not watch in case I fall in love with them now!!!!!!!

I can’t believe you’ve done this 2 years in a row. Obviously, you don’t care about your viewers. I like the Titans but I could care less about Jeff Fisher’s show. To admit that you taped his show last night and then cut off the first half of DWTS doesn’t sound too smart to me. I always watch Channel 2 news, now, I just might change to Channel 4. Programmers, you know exactly what you are doing. Please don’t insult our intelligence with excuses.

I would like one of the sports anchors to let us know if this show will interupt DWTS every week.

Extremly upset!!!!! I watch Dancing With The Stars Monday night, Tuesday night… and Wednesday night are the live finals and ya’ll got Titans football on how freaking irritating!!! Who ever made this decision sucks!

I totally agree with everyone on here !!!

How could you put Jeff Fisher on over DWTS. Do you people ever think?? We have watched DWTS for two nights and the most important night of the show is changed just for Jeff Fisher!!! I guess you really don’t care what the majority of your viewers want. I’m through with WKRN.

Yes, I’m a female and NO I don’t agree with the comments posted. I could care less when DWTS airs. The Titans are MY team and I enjoy the games, the coach and the Titans on 2 program. I’m not alone in my opinion.
Actually, another lady and I planned to go to Opry Mills tomorrow night for the taping of the show. I’m sorry they have changed nights. The show was on last Wed. night - I’d like to know when the show is scheduled on a weekly basis.

What could he possibly WASTE a hour saying? Sum it up Jeff, “WE LOST AGAIN” . See that took less than 5 sec. So the other 59 min 55 sec is going to be filled with EXCUSES of why we LOST again.

GO TITANS!! GO JEFF FISHER!! I have been a fan of the Titans since they came to Nashville and I think Jeff Fisher is the perfect guy to lead our team and represent our state! The Jeff Fisher show has been on channel 2 long before DWTS!!! Whole lot more football fans than DWTS fans I guarentee that! I think it is a great program and it keeps us fans informed and looking forward to the next game! Who knows, maybe one day you will see one of our own Titans or Coach Fisher on DWTS!! Never know! Strange how football players have made such an impact on DWTS and you seem to be enjoying it! Keep it up Titans! It is football time in Tennessee!

I love football (not a Titans fan though), and I don’t care about Dancing With the Stars, but I cannot believe this channel preempts prime-time network television for a local sports show (esp for an 0-5 team). As for Marvin’s comment above, why don’t you try contacting ABC (the network, not the affiliate) and complaining to them? Maybe some pressure from the network would help.

I am a huge Titans fan… but all i can say is 0-16 I am a very embarresed Titans fan. All we can hope for is good draft picks 4 next season. LIKE FOR EXAMPLE A NEW QUARTER BACK?!?!?!

Now you guys are pre-empting the entire season of ‘V’??? Seriously… I’m a Titans fan, and this could be forgiven if we were having a winning season. But since were soon to be 0-7, I think WKRN should move Titans on 2, to 1 AM, and leave ‘V’ in it’s regular slot.

WKRN has officially lost their minds.

  19. Frank said,

    on October 26th, 2009 at 8:11 pm

SERIOUSLY???!? YOU ARE AIRING THIS CRAP INSTEAD OF “V”???! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU IDIOTS!! THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE DUMBEST PROGRAMMING DECISION I HAVE EVER HEARD OF! JEFF FISHER AND HIS CRAP SHOW SHOW BE BURIED AT 7AM ON SUNDAY MORNING, OR AT 1AM ANY NIGHT OF THE WEEK. YOU ARE SERIOUSLY AIRING IT AT PRIMETIME INSTEAD OF V??? YOU ALL SHOULD LOSE YOUR FREAKING JOBS, YOU DUMB ASS BACKWARDS HILLBILLIES!!

I think it’s time to start boycotting ABC Nashville!! We’re all tired of this!!

  21. Rhonda said,

OMG! I thought it was a mistake on my channel guide, but now I see that you really are planning on running the Jeff Fisher Show…WOW. I’m sure that nothing can be done, but I agree with D.J….time to contact the network to complain. This is just nuts!

I found this page while looking for information on why WKRN would not move the “Titans on 2″ for the network premiere of “V”. Looks like WKRN wants to upset its viewers over and over again.

Wake up WKRN. If you keep doing this, we will find other ways to watch the shows we love. Thanks to Hulu and ABC.com, we can watch the shows from your network affiliate without giving your station any of the rating shares.

There are a lot more Titans fans in Nashville then DWTS fans. They manage to fill the stadium with 70,000 people every home game so choosing to air a Titans talk show is a great idea. I look forward to this show every week. Keep it coming channel 2!

  24. Erik said,

    on November 3rd, 2009 at 2:50 pm

……also not to mention the people that tune in every week to watch the Titans in the Nashville viewing area

  25. Erik said,

    on November 3rd, 2009 at 2:52 pm

One more thing……I am surprised in the amount of men writing in to complain about missing a dancing show over some football talk. Your man card is now revoked

  26. Shelton said,

    on November 3rd, 2009 at 7:38 pm

Jeff Fisher and the Tennessee Titans are simply not prime time material. They certainly should NOT be preempting national television events. When then make it to the Superbowl again, let’s talk (though I anticipate we’ll have perfected teleportation by then - so no issue)…Until then - this show is A WASTE OF HDTV PIXELS!

  27. Mike M. said,

    on November 3rd, 2009 at 9:08 pm

Erik, most of the men are upset at the pre-emption of “V”. Learn how to read.

I could care less if DWTS gets cancelled.

  28. Carl said,

    on November 4th, 2009 at 9:42 pm

Wow, Erik. Maybe it’s time to take a break from all the football and crappy local sports talk shows, and work on some reading comprehension skills. You know, some skimming, scanning, context clues, and looking for the main idea. Your literacy card is now revoked!

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
