Top 25 & Beyond

For the first time in my life I’m a voter in the A-P Top 25 Basketball Poll and let me just say it is WAY harder than I thought. I can always remember looking at that poll growing up and picking out all of the insane injustices that were there. Today though I have a new understanding.

First off their should be NO POLL until at least December 1st. It’s practically impossible to vote on teams that haven’t played or you haven’t even seen a highlight of.

Second, the top 15 isn’t so difficult. The best of the best tend to stand out, the rest that’s another story. I was agonizing over 16 thru 25 Sunday and could have filled out those 10 teams with at least 20 different names. In the end I just tried to go with my guy and ask myself who would beat who.

I have 2 goals, be as fair as possible and not to get called out by that guy on cbssportsline.com!!!
